Start Your Treenet Design
Thank you for considering us for your Treenet project — we’re honored to begin the conversation.
Because every project is completely custom and woven by hand, there are a few important things to know about how the process works before submitting your inquiry. Taking a moment to review the information below will help set expectations and make the design process smooth and enjoyable from the very beginning.
Before You Submit an Inquiry
The Commission Process
We are honored you’re considering a custom woven art piece. A true treenet is more than a product—it is a hand-woven installation that requires immense skill, time, and physical dedication. Our goal is to create a seamless extension of the canopy—an invitation to experience the trees from a perspective rarely seen. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality and most densely woven treenets in the world, believing that world-class craftsmanship is only complete when combined with world-class customer service.
Quality Without Compromise
Integrity is the core of our work. Our builds are fully insured, meticulously detailed, and created without shortcuts. While we are always mindful and respectful of your investment, our priority will always be the safety, quality, and longevity of the structure. We focus on creating the most durable nets possible with a craftsmanship that respects the health of your trees.
Getting an Accurate Bid
Every project begins with a dedicated design and sketch phase. To provide an accurate quote, we offer two paths.
Remote Bid
If your vision is simple and straightforward— like an indoor loft net— please provide photos of your space with dimensions clearly labeled directly on the images. This allows us to jump straight into your initial sketches and provide an accurate estimate for the work.
On-Site Design Meeting
If you prefer a more hands-on approach, we can travel to your location to take measurements and walk through the design possibilities together in person. This is often the best approach for outdoor projects, where capturing every site detail is key to providing an accurate quote.
Structural Requirements for Indoor Nets
For all Indoor Nets, a structural engineer must be involved prior to our arrival. This ensures the anchor points are properly designed to withstand the forces created by a tensioned treenet. If needed, we’re happy to provide referrals to engineers familiar with these requirements. Our goal is always to make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Availability
Because of the time and care required for each project, we only accept a limited number of commissions each year. Our build calendar is currently booked approximately two years out. That said, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Occasionally smaller projects can fit into earlier openings depending on the schedule. If you’re dreaming about a larger scale build, now is the perfect time to begin planning. And if you happen to be working within a tighter timeline, we’re always happy to recommend trusted weavers whose work and character we respect.
The Design Sketches
One of the most special parts of the process is the design sketches.
We collaborate with an incredibly talented illustrator who transforms your space and ideas into custom hand-drawn renderings of the future Treenet. These are not technical blueprints — they are beautiful illustrations that capture the character and feeling of the design. For many clients, this is the moment when the project truly begins to feel real. The sketches often become keepsakes of the process itself — something families frame and keep long after the Treenet is complete.
You can explore dozens of past client sketches in our inspiration gallery.
