What to Expect

The Only Prerequisite Is Curiosity (And a Stud Finder)

Indoor builds require a slightly different approach than outdoor treenets — and we’ll teach you exactly how to do it safely and beautifully.

Each module is clear, visual, and grounded in real-world application. We break down structural decisions in a way that feels approachable, not overwhelming.

You’ll understand not just how to build — but why each step matters.

No fluff. No guesswork. Just thoughtful instruction rooted in experience.

Who It’s For

Made for anyone who sees possibility in empty space.

Families & Kids

If you want to create a space where imagination lives year-round, this course was built with you in mind. An indoor treenet becomes more than a feature — it becomes the favorite hangout. A reading loft. A sleepover perch. A climbing challenge on a rainy day. We walk you through the safety considerations, anchoring systems, and load fundamentals so you can build confidently — and create a space that grows with your kids.

SCHOOLS & COMMUNITY CENTERS

Looking to create a collaborative build that fosters teamwork, craftsmanship, and spatial awareness? Indoor treenets offer a memorable project that blends design thinking with real-world construction skills. Whether installed in a library, makerspace, youth center, or recreation area, these builds become interactive features that encourage movement, connection, and creativity. This course gives educators and leaders the structural understanding needed to plan responsibly and build safely.

Teens & Young Makers

For teens ready to take on a meaningful challenge, this course offers more than just a finished product — it offers mastery. Indoor builds require planning, precision, and patience. Students learn to work with tools, follow structural guidelines, and think through design decisions with purpose. It’s a project that builds confidence alongside skill — and the result is something they can proudly say, “I built that.”

HOMEOWNERS & DIYers

If you look up at a loft, vaulted ceiling, or unused corner and think, “This could be something more…” — this course is for you. Whether you're finishing out a bonus room, reimagining a playroom, or adding something custom to a new build, we’ll guide you step-by-step through turning structural space into something beautiful and functional. You don’t need to be a contractor — just someone willing to measure carefully, follow thoughtful instruction, and build with intention.

Homeschool & Unschool Learners

Indoor treenets naturally blend art, engineering, geometry, physics, and design. Students calculate load distribution, explore tension and balance, and see firsthand how structural systems work together. This course offers a hands-on project that brings STEM principles to life in a tangible way — while also encouraging creativity and problem-solving. It’s learning you can literally relax in.

Our Story

We’re Kane & Lindsey, the duo behind Treenet Collective. Kane’s a highliner — a person who walks slack lines between canyons and other epic places — and it was his passion that sparked our creative journey. We began weaving portable, collapsible space nets — basically the coolest loungers for outdoor adventures — and quickly fell in love with the art of treenet weaving. What began as a hobby turned into something much bigger. One day a sky couch project we shared on social media went viral. 52 million views later, we found ourselves with a full-on business on our hands. We went from weaving in our spare time to being booked out over a year in advance, and that’s when we knew we had something special!

Before Treenet Collective, we ran another business that brought children with Autism into the outdoors. We’ve always believed in the power of nature to heal, inspire and connect us all — especially the next generation. It’s this love for kids, adventure, and the healing power of nature that drives everything we do today.

From the very beginning, our passion for treenets has been about more than just creating a product. Its about creating spaces where people can unplug, reconnect, and be inspired by the beauty of the world around them. We can’t wait to share that magic with you!
